Carolyn Ruth Brewer, 68, of Lake Jackson, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2004, at Village on the Creek Healthcare.

Carolyn was born August 21, 1936, in Tyler. She was a lifetime resident of Lake Jackson, taught school at Brazosport and was a librarian at West Columbia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Ruth Brewer; sister, Helen Cotton; and brother-in-law, Gene Cotton.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2004, at Restwood Memorial Park with Dr. John Hatch and Bro. Ed Webber officiating.
