Edna was born on March 12, 1917 in Lee County, she was the daughter of Tomie and Ruby (Rhodes) Cherry. She and Cecil F. Reynolds were married on December 5, 1933 in Caldwell, TX. She has lived in Lexington for the past 17 years moving there from Kingwood, TX.

Mrs. Reynolds was a manager for McEvoy Credit Union in Houston for 28 years. She was a member of the Lexington United Methodist church, the Lexington Lions Club, the Lexington Senior Citizens all in Lexington, TX and the ABWA of Houston. She enjoyed working with her ceramics and porcelain dolls. Edna passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012 in the Scott & White hospital in Temple.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents; Husband of 69 years Cecil F. Reynolds on January 12, 2003; Son, Clayton Reynolds and 2 sisters, Odie Mullins and Altha Bartay.

Survivors include her son, Cecil Reynolds II of Houston; Daughter, Cherry Stover of Lexington; 7 Grandchildren, Dempsey Stover, Teri Munn, Stacey Stover, Jason Reynolds, Angel Elliot, Alison Hardway and Melody Genzel; 12 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Graveside services for Edna C. Reynolds age 95 of Lexington will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Lexington cemetery in Lexington, TX. Pastor Lance Richards of the Lexington United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Phillips & Luckey in Lexington.

Memorial may be made to the Lexington United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 116, Lexington, Tx 78947 or to the Lexington Senior Citizens.
