Pullen, Sanford to Pullen, Susannah 10-Jan 1828 GA Greene

The Pullen Family book, done by Geraldine Pullen Green of Jackson, Mississippi, in 1990, shows the following:
"Charles Pullen had a son named Robert who married Hettie Jewel.
Robert and Hettie Pullen had a daughter named Susan (or Susannah), who married Sanford Pullen. The Greene County, Georgia, Marriage Records show that Susannah Pullen married Sanford Pullen on January 10, 1828.
Geraldine Pullen states that Sanford Pullen had been married prior to his marriage to Susan Pullen and that the children of this first marriage were: Tempest, Winnie, Synthia, Robert, and William.
Sanford's marriage to Susan produced the following children: Berry Sanford, Joseph L., Andrew Jackson, Carter Oliver , James M. (Jamy), Mary, Sarah, and Susan.
In Geraldine Pullen's work, Sarah is also shown as Sara Ann and as Sallie (her nickname?). she is shown as marrying William Tillman Edwards on December 20, 1849.
Susan and Sanford and their 13 children left Greene County, Georgia, around 1843 and followed Susan's brother, Wyatt Pullen, into Perry County, Alabama, where they resided a while and then came into Carroll county, Mississippi, where they settled in the Lodi Community which was then in Carroll County. It is now in Montgomery County. According to the 1850 Census of Carroll County, Mississippi, he purchased some land valued at $1,400.00.
The name Sanford Pullen appeared again in the Carroll County Census of 1860 as living in Lodi, Mississippi, near Winona, Mississippi. We have not been able to find any record of Sanford and Susan after this. some family records show that they and several of their children are all buried in Old Salem Methodist Church Cemetery near Kilmichael in Montgomery County, Mississippi."
At present, it is no longer an active church. After citing a number of Pullens buried at Salem, Geraldine states the following:
"The above are all members of the older Pullen family. There were no headstones found for any others. according to Mr. H. E. Allen, a trustee of the church, records have been turned over to the Kilmichael Methodist Church and there is a section of the cemetery called the old cemetery where there are some unknown graves which are the graves of older members of the church."
